The fireball and trail were equally bright. There were 5 of us in the vehicle, and there was some disagreement as to whether the predominant color was green or blue. It lasted a surprisingly long time until it passed out of sight behind a hill. Appeared very very close (although obviously it was not). We heard no associated sounds.
