Remarks I thought this was a rocket given the size or a plane going down. I waited for a boom but no noise happened so looked up what it could be. I was outside looking straight up letting my eyes adjust to figure out if I should bring out my telescope and I saw this go right above me from north to south. It went all the way across my view which isn't far because of trees but it seemed very close like something breaking apart in the atmosphere. This was slower than a shooting star and was definitely a fire look. Absolutely amazing!!! Would love to know what it was.
