Reports Report 614a (Event 614-2012)

Observer
Name Guilford S
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Best & brightest I have had a good look at. I saw a fireball in Atlanta in the fall of 1965 while driving which may have been brighter. We watched the 2002 Leonids from the Blue Ridge Parkway, many miles from any town lights, for most of the night, counting 1500+. Tonight's fireball was at least 10 times brighter & better than anything in the 2002 Leonids. We were in the truck, sitting still on the ferry crossing the river tonight. Two pole mounted lights were behind us. All other lights were miles away.
