| Remarks | It was amazing. Nothing I had ever seen before. Larger than any meteorological phenomenon I\'d ever seen before. It was a BRIGHT orange ball that was visible through thin-moderate cloud cover and traveled from south-southwest through the center of the sky finally fading out roughly 70 degrees above the northern horizon. Total duration was over a minute, possibly closer to two minutes. Enough time for me to alert my wife, have her get up from watching her TV show and come outside! |
