| Remarks | My husband is an Amateur Astronomer, so we regularly was meteor showers. I have had the opportunity to see some rather large fireballs, This one was very different, the color was bright white/blue not the red of other fireballs. I also thought to begin with that it was the landing light of a commercial airliner because it was so bright. However, it went across the sky in an arc to the ground way to fast. It also did not burn out like other fireballs that I have witnessed, it disappeared into the treeline. |
