| Name | John |
| Experience Level | 3/5 |
| Remarks | Brightness was hard to determine (I estimated a -9) as skies were a bit overcast/hazy (only the brightest stars were out). But the fireball was very noticeable and the brightest I\'ve seen since 1995. |

| Persistent train | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Duration | 2s |
| Length | 20° |
| Remarks | Train was broken, as the fireball seemed to disappear for a fraction of a second mid-transit. After the light of the train burned out, a gray glowing remnant remained for about 1-2 seconds (I moved my eyes slightly and the train stayed in the same place in the sky, so it was not a result of the light persisting in my eye). |

| Remarks | The fireball seemed to be one large piece (90% of the total size) and a smaller piece (10% of the total size). |
