Reports Report 1671n (Event 1671-2019)

Observer
Name Scott S
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I am an avid birdwatcher and my observing skills and ability to recall detail for something flying through the sky are probably higher than the average person. This was truly an amazing experience that I would like to know more about. The trajectory of the fireball seems like it impacted earth. Maybe naive, but I do believe that it made impact somewhere. In fact, I sat still and start counting seconds until I heard a bang or felt the ground shake (maybe silly). However It seemed that large and that near. To give an idea that may help, it seemed like my neighbors on the corner had shot off fireworks.

Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks Terminal flash is what first alerted me to the fireball. Incredibly bright, like a sudden blast of daylight Illuminating my yard. Concurrently there was also a bang, not terribly loud, but like a tire blowing out on the interstate nearby. The combination of both made me instinctively duck my head.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks I would compare the fragmentation and accompanying sounds to that of a sparkler.
