I have seen plenty of shooting stars and meteor showers in my day but this was entirely different. As it passed it brightened the night sky briefly

It was a few different colors and the trail it left behind lingered for a second or two. Also I felt like I could see it breaking apart maybe? It looked as tho while it passed by little glowing pieces were falling off
