Reports Report 911a (Event 911-2012)

Observer
Name Erin
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It may have been after midnight but I was sitting on the deck when it caught my eye. It was moving slowly, approximately N to NE, parallel to the ground and appeared to be low in the sky. It looked like an orange ball of fire with very little train. Unfortunately it disappeared over the tree line so I could not see where it went. I am a bit skeptical because of how close we are to July 4 but it was like nothing I've ever seen before. I hope you receive other reports. Thank you!
