All in total from beginning to end was around a minute.. that’s when I couldn’t see the trail anymore. If I stretch my arm out and point 2 fingers that’s about how long it was.. 2 fingers wide. It was just to the left of Jupiter looking southeast from my vantage point. Very bright and exciting. Listened for a few minutes for a boom but heard nothing.

Remarks
I was looking at Jupiter and turned around when the flash occurred. It was as bright as a close lightning flash. When I turned around I saw the fireball burn up in about 4 seconds.
