From my viewpoint it appeared very large.
At the time I estimated my distance from it to be appox. 5 miles.
When I saw the bright flash I knew it had exploded.
I continued to watch the blazing fragments falling and it occured to me
that I should of heard a loud boom or crackle when it fragmented but
I didn\'t hear anything.
So I assumed it was much farther away then I had originally thought,
far enough away that the sound from the explosion was too far away to reach me.
That thing must of been huge!

Remarks
The light intensified and became very bright, turning from a whitish yellow-orange to a yellowish white just before the flash.
Imediatly after the flash there was a great deal of fragmentation.
