Reports Report 994a (Event 994-2012)

Observer
Name Cindy K
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks From my viewpoint it appeared very large. At the time I estimated my distance from it to be appox. 5 miles. When I saw the bright flash I knew it had exploded. I continued to watch the blazing fragments falling and it occured to me that I should of heard a loud boom or crackle when it fragmented but I didn\'t hear anything. So I assumed it was much farther away then I had originally thought, far enough away that the sound from the explosion was too far away to reach me. That thing must of been huge!
