Reports Report 994e (Event 994-2012)

Observer
Name John
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was a slow moving object looking South and heading in a South Easterly direction. A lot slower than a traditional \"falling star\". I first noticed the object and thought it was a plane or helicopter but much brighter. Then I noticed the speed at which it was falling. Once I realized it was a meteor I told my wife to look. All in all it was one of the longest sightings of a meteor I\'ve even seen. All in all about 4 seconds from the time I first saw it in the sky. I\'m glad I wasn\'t the only one. I would love to know if it completely broke up or if any part of the meteor actually hit Earth.
