| Remarks | It fell in quite a sharp arc. The time is accurate as I was waiting to hear the news on Radio 4. I had been watching the planes flying in from the east to London, Stanstead and Gatwick think how slow they were moving, when from the west came this ball of very bright white light. I kept watching for a while, but there was no more. It was breath taking. |
