| Remarks | I am 60 years old and this sighting was probably the brightest, biggest meteor with the longest visible arc that I have ever seen. It seemed to course downward and get larger as it visibly raced across the sky for about 4 seconds. It\'s colors cycled in a moment from white to orange, red, and green. It quickly and quietly disappeared in the northwestern night sky. If fragments survived, they probably impacted in the Pacific Ocean, about 20 miles west of my location. |
