| Remarks | To clarify earlier choices: I was out jogging, facing an east/east-north-easterly direction. I didn't have the precise time, but it was around 11 when all the other reported sightings were. I was alerted to it by a bright flash, almost like a camera flash, that lit up the area. I turned in a south/south-south-westerly direction just in time to see a fireball coming down straight in that direction. I have only ever seen green/blue-green ones come down, but this was orange like it was on fire, so I wasn't immediately sure that it wasn't maybe some type of flare, or even an airplane coming down. Perhaps it was fragmentation after an explosion? In any event, thank you for taking the time to read this, and good luck keeping track of the skies! |
