Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 4s
Length 45°
Remarks At first it looked like a shooting star only very bright then it turned green and seemed like it was getting bigger. The \"head\" of the streak was about 1/4 of the size of the moon so I figured it was closer than most shooting stars I\'ve seen. As it went across the sky it turned a bright glowing green, like florescent. The tail only lasted a couple seconds but it made an arc about 30 to 45 degrees across the sky in length. It \"appeared\" like it was going to land in Uxbridge or Bellingham but that was probably an illusion because it was probably higher up than it appeared. I was amazed at how fast it went.
Terminal flash
Observation No
Remarks At the end it went from being a thin streak, then as it turned green, it seemed to get larger, to about 1/4 the size of the moon. I wouldn\'t call it fragmentation but it certainly seemed to be a big object.
