Reports Report 3853ca (Event 3853-2019)

Observer
Name Brad W
Experience Level 5/5
Remarks Meteor showed continuous green color along the path but also a white central streak with yellow near the head. Meteor dimmed out briefly approximately one second after first observed and then became visible again in less than one second. The dimming may have been due to intervening high clouds. Local weather conditions were generally clear except for some high stratus clouds only noticed shortly after the meteor dissipated. Meteor timing is very reliable as it was taken from GPS map time. Time was only available to the minute. Meteor reached a low angular altitude just above surrounding terrain (low hills) before burnout but termination of the path was observable above the terrain.
