Remarks fragmentation occurred almost the instant it appeared and continued throughout the event. most fragments separated laterally rather than in a trail (some trailed behind meteor) and steadily expanded. lost the view in the trees on the north shore of the lake (meteor observed from dock at north side of lake...facing south)
