It was so close that it looked angular and green fire around the angles with slight purple tones, nothing like a distant blob of white light. I thought maybe it landed in the fields north of my home. Certainly it was within 10 miles of my house (or so that's how close I felt it was). I was driving toward my home. My home is to the northwest of the road I was on.
