| Remarks | I decided to report this after I heard about a loud explosion in Wichita, Ks today at 1:40 pm and heard it may have been a meteor. I saw this at 1:23 pm 3.5 hours away from where the loud explosion was heard. I was driving W and this would have been SW of me. It was traveling extremely fast that I thought it was a shooting star, but found it strange as I’ve never seen one during the day. |

| Remarks | It was extremely bright white/silver and a burst of extremely white light at the end that looked reflective before it disappeared. I had to look away because it was so bright. No orange or red(fire)colors at all. |
