| Remarks | Whatever the "boom" was, it came from the sky. I was driving from Larned to Wichita, heading eastbound on 19 where it crosses over 281 & turns into NE 140th St, just north of Hudson & I saw something in the sky & thought "damn that plane is going fast", then it exploded like a shooting star. Ironically it looked like it was headed straight for Wichita. I even called my husband cuz I've never seen one during the middle of the day. Didn't think twice about it til I saw this post about it. I just thought I saw a once in a lifetime kind of thing. Now I'm wondering what the hell it is I really saw.... cuz obviously people, over 100 miles away from where I saw it, heard it.... |
