Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks I was facing south-southeast and there was a very bright and very quick flash that caught my eye to the left towards the east and caused me to turn my head in that direction and I saw a single very bright meteor streak towards the south at a slight downward trajectory. All of this happened in less than 2 seconds. The flash came from about a fist's width to the right of the rising nearly full moon and was seriously bright even in that moonlit early evening sky.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks I noticed only one single very bright meteor.
