I was not looking for this but was absolutely awed. I live at a river edge in a forest and the intense white light overhead took me by surprise and turned into a trail of color zooming down in front of me that stopped about 30 ft from the ground. Scared me and made me stop dead for several seconds after it was done. Another one did not happen. I hope this info helps someone. I am not sure at all what happened.

Changed from very bright white light that was over my head to a line that was either green to orange or orange to green and over 20 feet long just in front of me dropping down into the trees of the forest. Scared the living daylights out of me.
