Reports Report 1431c (Event 1431-2012)

Observer
Name Michael S
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks The shooting star seemed to be at least 50 miles up and moving more slowly than most shooting starts, and it seemed to be brighter than most shooting stars that I have seen. The New York area has lots of haze, so it was bright on a hazy blue moon night. I once lived near the Planetarium in Manhattan, and I grew up around NASA, so being on a night schedule for over 45 years, I always observe the night sky, when I am out. In February 1972, I visited Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, and that was the most stars at night that I ever saw. http://mikelouisscott.com/ http://mikelouisscottcom.cv.siteprotect.net/
