Reports Report 5566lx (Event 5566-2019)

Observer
Name Gina B
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I don't think that I *saw anything, but I thought that I should attempt to report my experience. Many aspects of astronomy interest, fascinate, and frighten me. I took astronomy for a Gen. Ed requirement in college, and not only wrote my term paper about comets, but translated it, and a poem inspired by it, into Spanish, which I minored in(I majored in English).

Remarks I work as a laundry aide in a nursing home on the evening shift, and I was busy working when I heard a loud Boom, and I'm not sure, but I thought I felt something, as if the ground had shaken. At the time, I thought it was the HVAC system, or some really loud thunder. I was busy, though, so I quickly forgot about it. Then Tuesday evening, I watched Marfoogle News on YouTube and they featured an article about an unusually big meteor going from east to west, from St. Louis to approximately Kansas City, MO(I'm in Cedar County, MO). The window in question, in the laundry room, faces west, to the rear parking lot, with a cow pasture beyond. Where I was standing when I felt the Boom, is next to the part with the window.
