Reports Report 5942e (Event 5942-2019)

Observer
Name Jennifer T
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks This was absolutely amazing. I stayed there for over an hour to make sure no one's back yard caught fire. If there was any other person out my dogs would have barked. This fell right from the sky over my head as I was stopped for my dog to do his business. It landed right in front of my face but fizzled out at the to of the tree line so I couldn't see exactly who's back yard it landed in.

Remarks It flashed bright white right above my head then it flickered 2 or 3 times as it fell to the ground. I'm lucky it didn't take my head off. I don't believe it was a "fireball" however I thought it was important enough to report and wasn't sure where to do that. I believe it was a small piece of meteorite. I thought someone was shooting firecrackers at me but there was no one else around. I was walking my dogs.
