Reports Report 4728d (Event 4728-2018)

Observer
Name Anthony J
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks At 5:25 am a meteor can be seen heading in the same direction of where the camp fire started. PG&E reported to state regulators that at 6:15 am a transmission line malfunctioned. Fifteen minutes later the first visible sign of the fire was confirmed. So, the meteor was recorded about 50 minutes prior to the PG&E report of the malfunction. I did provide this information and video to both PG&E and CalFire investigators just days after the fire, and have not heard back from them since.
