Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was outside talking to my father who lives about 50 miles away. I was looking at the ground, when there was what seemed to be a prolonged flash from a camera. (One of those very bright, professional ones.) I looked up to the sky to see a bright light, which kept getting brighte rand brighter. I realized it was moving, but didn\'t seem to going all that fast. before I knew it, it had travelled across the entire sky, with a trail that must have been (at least) 100 miles long. halfway through this experience I said to my dad \"Holy shit there\'s something in the sky\" and hung up. The whole visual experience lasted only 5 or so seconds. He called back afterward and it turns out he was under the night sky just as I when we were talking, and had also witness the entire thing! As we were talking about it, a series of 5 massive deep \"booms\" literally shook the earth beneath us. I could even hear the dogs freaking out where he was. Anyone saying that there were no booms just didn\'t experience them. It was the most amazing experience of my life.

Remarks Sounds occured almost 2 minutes after initial spectacle. There were five distingtive \"booms,\" (Ground even vibrated beneath my feat, dogs erupted into frenzy; most insane experience of my life.) Then it was all over.
Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 11s

Remarks Well I thought my eyes were just over-exposed for a second, but then realised there was a speckly trail where the meteor had passed. (Like it \"scarred\" the sky.) This lasted upwards of 10 seconds. (by 4 the speckles were gone, and by 8 you had to look away and back again to see the hazy strreak.)
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks Broke into 4-5 seperate pieces, (VERY bright at point of fragmentation) then dissapated rather quickly.
