Remarks I was driving my wife first saw it we were driving west she said look I leaned over and saw it through the trees. then the trees blocked it. we were traveling at about 45 mph when we got to south bay we turned north and could not see any thing more. We drove along the edge of Los Osos near waters edge to see if anything had hit. The only thing we saw was a very bright light much higher in the sky looked like a distant helicopter which we lost site of. I saw it more as falling space junk. The object appeared to be white. with a surprising colored tail and color coming off from in front of it too. I am a trained photographer and have watched meteors in both New Mexico and California with telescopes and naked eye. But I only saw it for a very short time and my view was soon blocked by trees.
