Observer
Name Enid W
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I\'ve never seen anything like it and I could only guess it was a meteorite at the time! I SO wanted to put the phone down & chase it, (but my sister was having a crisis at the time.) Dang! I found out about you when I went on Facebook and discovered that a friend had seen something, too. I guess the Internet is good for something after all...my comments aren\'t important but I am just so darned excited I can\'t help it!

Remarks I heard a \"sizzling\" sound as the trail shot off a few sparks. So exciting! A friend way up in Marin (CA) heard a \"boom.\"
Persistent train
Observation Yes

Remarks Sitting on my elevated back porch, I saw the fireball go right across my backyard...just above tree-top height. So it seemed to be about basketball sized, with a long fiery trail. Color of fireball & trail was mostly white, with some yellow and a few sparks. I actual heard it \"sizzle\" as it went past. I knew it wasn\'t a lone fireworks, because of the extreme horizontal flight path. If I hadn\'t been in my bathrobe (and talking on the phone) at the time, I would have run out the front door and down the street to see where it landed. Whoooeee!
