Remarks | i just happened to be at the very top of the cemetery hill with a panoramic view, overlooking the entire san francisco bay area. the night was warm, clear and beautiful, with a waxing sliver moon sinking into the deep western dusk. the bolide definitely lit up the whole region. the boom was low and sonorous, reflecting off the the bay and everything- and unlike any sound ive heard before. it was easily discernible from the low din of the city and even a jet liner that passed by! a spectacular experience! |
