Reports Report 1528bo (Event 1528-2012)

Observer
Name Theresa
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was inside a backyard observatory looking through the eyepiece of a telescope when I heard the instructor say, \"What is THAT?\" Knowing he didn\'t mean the star cluster I was observing, I backed away from the eyepiece and looked up through the \"slot\" of the observatory dome and saw the fireball. It amazingly swooped right over us in the middle of the opening. Because the opening doesn\'t extend beyond 90 degrees, I was not able to see beyond that point. It looked like fireworks! Before I looked up, people told me it had illuminated the inside of the dome, so I missed the beginning point of observation.
