It was an incredible sight to see! It looked so big and close. I was in the mountains on highway 152, so I was away from the city lights. I would say I was probably facing northwest.

I was in the mountains and saw it before it disappeared from view behind trucks that were in front of us on the road going over Pacheco pass, so I did not see what happened to it.
