Remarks My fiancee and I just got in the car and started driving when we spotted the fireball. The whole event lasted for about 7-10 seconds, which felt like an eternity when witnessing it. It broke up quite a bit and had flashes of green and blue before finally burning out completely. I rolled down my window to see if there were any smoke trails, but it was a pretty dark sky and I couldn't see anything. Definitely the most vivid and intense fireball I have ever seen; almost reminded me of footage of the Columbia disaster.

Remarks Several chunks broke off the fireball a few seconds after we initially spotted it. They also spawned trails as well and were extinguished a couple seconds after breaking apart. There were about two times where the fireball fragmented, the second time had flashes of blue and green associated with it. I think we saw a terminal flash, but it wasn't very much brighter than the rest of the fireball.
