Reports Report 602a (Event 602-2007)

Remarks This story seems old but I’ve also witnessed the Aurora Borealis in Idaho in June. I think the lack of light pollution helps with identification.

Remarks I was driving a tractor on the camas prairie on the Rice ranch raking hay. I very much recall small fragmentation drifting down near the tractor I was running. I only worked there during a few weeks in the summer of 2007. I recall the farm owners and others in the area remarking that the meteorite had landed near Iron Mountain. I recall this location as if is the name of my home town in MI. The meteorite came from behind my right shoulder as I was facing nor or NNW. Annie Rice’ tractor was ahead of me slightly so that she did not see the fragments. Only the brief fireball. Id be happy to go back and collect reports. It wasn’t unknown in the area at the time.
