Remarks My fiance and i were driving back to VOC from Cottonwood and was on Cornville Rd in the turns right before the gas station in cornville. He said a shooting star, i looked up and it was bright white in front like a star but it has this orange trail with what looked like fire spitting behind it. I said thats not a shooting star that is something on fire, a meteor or a comet. It only lasted a few seconds but appeared to be in our atmosphere. You could see way too much detail. Time isn’t exact, i didnt pay attention i do know it was between 7:30 pm and 8:15 pm local time. I really wish i could have gotten a photo or video. By the time he saw it and told me i didn’t have time to grab my phone before it was gone. I would love to explore and help locate anything with you guys! I rockhound all over Arizona.
