This was bright enough and strange enough for me to search about it on the Internet and write my account of the event, which is something I just don't do.

Remarks
Just like lightning. It was VERY bright. I was swimming with 2 other friends. I was resting at the edge of the pool and saw it very easily, but the flash was so bright that my friends saw it with their heads under water.
