I was driving north on I-95 and am unsure of my exact location. I know I was facing north and we were in a very dark area. Right in front of me on the road I saw the fireball appear and look as if it was dropping from the sky and then vanished within 2-3 seconds. It was quick and very bright in the dark sky, but I had observed fireballs before and knew what it was immediately.
