Remarks this was the first meteor i have ever seen - i was in the car on the side of the road just looking for constellations, was shocked and astounded when i saw it. checked twitter a few moments later and saw a northwestern ontario resident and chicagoan comment most recently on seeing the meteor, commenting it was so bright that it distracted them from their show.
