Reports Report 1703d (Event 1703-2012)

Observer
Name Robert T
Experience Level 5/5
Remarks After sunset, but sky not completely dark yet. Was standing outside waiting for Treaters. Started well up and went straight down with no sideways movement at all so it was moving in an almost perfectly westerly direction. (Easy to tell because my street runs exactly N to S, and this was at right angle to street) Classic fireball as it brightened up and stayed at its peak brightness for a few seconds and then quickly faded out. Very steady and did not "flicker" in magnitude at all. Moved slowly compared to some others I have seen so makes me think this *might* have been space junk burning up but not sure.
