| Remarks | Size was many times larger compared to the many meteors I've seen, and compared to photos/videos of meteors including the one in Russia that the sonic boom broke windows. Its size was more comparable to a full moon at height, it was about 1/3 a moon diameter when the moon is high. It fell nearly vertically, at most 5-10 degrees off vertical moving East to South. It disappeared at twice the height of the tree line 1.5 miles away, so there was a gap between its disappearance and the tree horizon of about the tree line height. It was nearly pure white. From my viewing location it was at most a few degrees East of due South East. |
