| Experience Level | 1/5 |
| Remarks | As stated earlier, I thought it was a flare or something aircraft related, as it seemed like a local event. Not until fragmentation did I realize it was much farther away. It was moving extremely fast. It was the largest, brightest "streaking" event, I have ever witnessed. |

| Terminal flash | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | Because I was on a Navy base i first thought it was a flare, due to it's perceived closeness. When I saw it explode I realized it was much larger and farther away. |
| Fragmentation | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | It appeared to impact something, because it fragmented and disappeared very quickly. After fragmentation, it was gone in a flash |
