It looked like a crackling bottle rocket firework straight up in the sky but the initial light from it was startling. Unfortunately I had music playing so I have no idea if there was a sound from it. But it was an amazing sight!

I was looking at the ground working in the garden. It wasn't pitch dark out yet and the initial light from this was bright enough to light up the entire sky, like an explosion. I immediately looked straight up and was shocked by what I was seeing.
