| Remarks | The meteor had no "tail." It appeared to the right of Orion's feet (the full Moon was just barely above Orion on the Eastern horizon) and seemed to curve a bit before disappearing. it was frankly one of the most unusual meteors I've ever witnessed. It also seemed to be perfectly round. There was no variation in magnitude during its course. It appeared fully bright, curved towards the SE horizon, remained the same magnitude and disappeared. It didn't fade it. It just turned off. It was very, very bright. Again, it was strange but invigorating. |
