Observer
Name Jeffrey O
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I bought a dashcam for the very purpose of meteors after the big one in Russia a few years ago. I have had this camera for almost 2 years and this is the first one I have seen or caught on the dashcam so I was super happy after I viewed the video and it showed up.

Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks As you can see on the video, it came it fast and immediately got super bright as the atmosphere go to it after 1-2 seconds of being seen. It slowed immensely as the flash occurred.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks It doesn't show up of the video, but live I could see some clear fragments breaking off and heading more downward as the meteor was slightly angling to the right as it was coming down. The fragments were bright and distinct with a blue hue around the burning pieces. I would say about 4 fragments that I remember, but it happened so quickly and the trees in the foreground got in the way of following the meteor lower to the ground.
