Reports Report 2805er (Event 2805-2020)

Experience Level 2/5
Remarks It was the most spectacular image I have ever seen in the twilight night sky! Our property backs up to a Regional and State Park and this time of year viewing the night sky is phenomenal! The fireball had a brilliant long tail that streamed behind it and gradually became smaller until it disappears. The fireball disappeared along the horizon and looked as if it literally landed somewhere in the park nearby. It came from the East/Southeast and flew above me as I was stopped at our garbage can (taking the garbage out) located on our property line next to the park. I saw the fireball above and over the park headed in the North/ Northwest direction, then it disappeared into the trees/horizon. It was as big as the moon looked just a few days ago !
