Reports Report 3646l (Event 3646-2020)

Observer
Name Sharon F
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks The shape and colour of the fireball/bolide was a long and pointed bright white-yellow tail, with a tear drop shaped head, which at first seemed bright white-yellow, then it glowed bright light green and then flashed bright light green and exploded into fragments. I was looking up over the roofs of the houses from my back yard, the sky was fairly clear, only a few clouds. I initially went out to look up because there was an unusual amount of aircraft flying over and making a lot of noise for about half an hour, and it was late at night for this to be happening. I was just looking up at the aircraft going over and then started looking at the stars, so it was just by chance that I looked up at the right time and place to see this spectacle. I have seen many shooting stars before, but never anything like this.
