Reports Report 5643a (Event 5643-2017)

Observer
Name Nancy M
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was lying in my driveway resting before Hurricane Irma hit and had my eyes closed praying. I opened my eyes and suddenly at the top of the sky a bright light appeared and streaked to the right. It went about a third of the way toward the horizon and then faded and disappeared. I’ve never seen anything like it before. I have watched a few times in busy meteor nights but this was 100 time brighter and a bit slower.
