Remarks This was SO CLOSE it seemed about the height of a drone, it SEEMED. I could actually make out the spin which appeared like a neon green vibrating diamond outline with a dark middle and faint orange to yellow tapering tail. It took 2-3 seconds and sailed silently right over Vail Park which I was facing at the time from my front porch — so I had a long good view of it since I was already staring out at the sky! As it ended its trajectory it became two vibrating green diamonds for a fraction of a second and with perhaps a bit more orange sparking as I seemed to be viewing the back end of the tail, shortened and wider. Completely silent but I’d swear it was close enough to find cooled fragments in my neighbors’ yards a few streets to the east of me! Fascinating!!! Please let me know what this may have been a part of! I have a phd in Biology but may now become an amateur astronomer!!! :)
