It was WAY brighter than Venus at its brightest and BY FAR the brightest object I've ever seen dashing across the sky. I have no idea how to compare its brightness to the moon due to the difference in sizes. Perhaps it was like 5 or 10 Venuses. It looked just like a burning fireworks shooting across the sky! There was still daylight. There were some high clouds and I tried to recall whether it appeared to pass under or over them, but I wasn't able to.
